Storm Report

On Tuesday, April 2nd 2024, a massive storm with the possibility of causing an EF-2+ tornado and Flash flood, barely missed the Olentangy Local School District. As a result of this possibility, all schools within the district were let out 90 minutes early.

Damage

Even though a tornado did touch down, it wasn’t within Delaware county. Franklin county had several reports of destroyed properties, damaged cars, and fallen trees. Thankfully only one county was affected by the tornado. There was a small flood however, many properties had what appeared to be small ponds in their yards. Fortunately, there were no injuries or deaths In Ohio.

Rainbow

After this strong storm passed, a double rainbow caught the attention of many people living within the Olentangy Local School District. This Rainbow was seen after the storm dispersed at sunset during the late afternoon.
